Tackling Social Media at Your Landscaping Business

ImageSocial media has burst onto the business scene over the past few years and become an important marketing tool for businesses of all sizes and industries.  Some businesses have tried to ignore it, or not use it, but that isn’t a viable option any longer.  Why?  Social media has become a new form of communication, and essentially a new-aged Yellow Pages.  Is there a return on investment for using social media?  What is the value?  These are questions that marketers are still struggling to answer, but it is a challenge that a marketing software like Hubspot has taken head on.  At the end of the day, being active on social media gives your business more exposure, more access to your current and potential clientele, and an insight into your competitor’s businesses as well.  It is an important way to stay in the game, and get the most out of your landscaping marketing.  So where do you start?

Twitter

Google+

ImageThe dark horse of social media, Google+ allows you to share updates publicly or with the people within your circles.  They recently introduced business pages, where you can add updates, post videos, share links and more.  Again, this is great for brand awareness, and shows the your business is in-the-know.
